A Academia de Televisão, instituição responsável pelo Emmy, anunciou nesta terça-feira (12) os indicados à 74ª edição da premiação, considera o Oscar da televisão.
Com apresentação dos atores Melissa Fumero (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) e J. B. Smoove (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) e do presidente da organização, Frank Scherma, o anúncio foi feito ao vivo, através do canal do YouTube da Academia.
Apesar do recorde no número de inscrições, algumas produções já eram esperadas na lista da disputa, como foi o caso de “Round 6″, “Euphoria”, “Stranger Things” e “Inventando Anna”.
Outras como “Westworld” e “The Boys” não apareceram na lista por conta do período de elegibilidade, de 01/06/2021 a 31/05/2022.
Considerado um dos prêmios mais aguardados pela indústria televisiva, o Emmy 2022 fará a entrega das estatuetas no tradicional Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles, no dia 12 de setembro. Até o momento, os apresentadores não foram divulgados.
