Monday started hot in the international fashion scene. That’s because Azzedine Alaïa told the newspaper "Financial Times" that he was invited to take the creative helm of Dior – but he declined the invitation. The Tunisian fashion designer said he was flattered, but the whole John Galliano ordeal was very sad and he didn’t want to be a part of the next chapter. On Twitter, the story has already caused repercussions – even Stefano Gabbana has spoken up on the subject. "Great idea," he tweeted. * Meanwhile, John Galliano’s trial is scheduled for this Wednesday in Paris. Rumors have it that he’ll not attend, since he’s been rehab in the U.S. since March. So far the designer’s reps have confirmed his presence. We look forward to scenes of the next chapter.
