Sao Paulo became a little more French this week. MultiArtist Agnès Jaoui is in town after a brief stint in Rio de Janeiro, where she attended performances of plays she wrote, "A Day Like Any Other" and "Kitchen and Dependencies," which are on display under Bianca Byington’s direction.
* This is the first time the French artist came to Brazil as a singer, but not her debut in national territory: Agnès was here before to promote some of the films she directed. After only a day’s rest, on Thursday she was honored by the French consulate, who threw her a lunch at Paris 6 restaurant. Then she goes for two performances in the countryside of São Paulo.
