Earlier we gave you the scoop on the talk of journalist Candy Pratts Price, creative director of Vogue.com. The event was held to the cream of the crop at the Museum of Modern Art in Ibirapuera. On Monday, there were mostly connoisseurs in the audience.
* Fashion editor Camila Yahn brokered the chat that took place after Candy’s presentation. WGSN’s Francesca Muston, Julia Warkentin, WGSN’s director of content – both from London – were some of the international attendees.
* Graça Cabral watched everything up close, She’s the director of Luminosidade, the company which brought Candy to SPFW. She took the opportunity to talk about the importance of the internet to the fashion market. "When SPFW invested heavily in broadband Internet in 2000, everyone was asking ‘why spend so much in an industry that has only 12,000 users?’ Today we have 35 million Internet users and these numbers are only growing."
