Executives of the Columbia label fear that Beyoncé’s new album, called "4," will be a flop. The reason, according to column "Page Six," of the newspaper "New York Post," is that the singer refused to re-record some new tracks. According to sources close to Columbia, the partners are not happy and think the material is not what the singer’s fans are used to.

* According to friends of Beyoncé, the record company asked her to record new hits. The singer would have simply said no. If the CD gets stuck in the shelves, the label, according to the column, has another way out: to relaunch Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé’s former group.

* There are strong rumors that the group should come back and their next CD would be produced in October. The title suggested by Columbia? "Family Reunion".
