Fans aren’t the only ones excited about the start of Joao Gilberto’s “80 Anos. Uma Vida Bossa Nova” tour. The cultural market of the cities that will host the concerts promises to heat up with the arrival of the singer and his troupe, which carry more than 3,000 kilograms of sound and light equipment. The organization of the tour, budgeted at R $ 4.5 million, believes it will create approximately a hundred direct and indirect jobs per city. More than 60% of tickets have been sold for the performances in Sao Paulo and Rio, and 40% for the ones in Porto Alegre and Brasilia.
