Last Monday night was busy in the art world’s schedule. I mean, people from Brazil and abroad. That was because there was a dinner party at Milú Vilela’s and at the same time, another one at the house of the president of the 29th Bienal’s, Heitor Martinsand and his wife, Fernanda Feitosa, who organizes "SP Arte".

* Glamurama had dinner at the president of the Bienal’s house with the most influential people from the national arts, like the minister of Culture, Juca Ferreira, and Andrea Matarazzo, the minister of state in charge of the Culture in São Paulo state, and Carlos Augusto Calil, secretary of the culture in the city of São Paulo.

* The arts mega investors and buyers were also there. Who are they? José Olympio da Veiga Pereira, from Credit Suisse of Brazil, Ricardo Steinbruch, from Fibra Bank and Vicunha, Alfredo Setubal, from Itaú , Julio Landman, industrial and Bienal’s former president, among others. There were also some highly respected and well-reputed artists from the Brazilian market, like Tunga, Antonio Dias, Angelo Venosa, Rosângela Rennó, Mauricio Dias, Albano Afonso, Sandra Cinto and Vik Muniz.

* The most renown museologists e gallerists of the world were also on the event. Among the notables, we got “tête-a-tête” with the president of the Tate Gallery, Nicholas Serota, and Glenn Lowry, from the New York and London MoMA and even Luziah Hennessy, Gilles Hennessy’s wife, the executive from the company that takes care of beverage brands from the LVMH group. Could you imagine the frisson? And this is to prove that it’s Brazil’s turn in the world of arts.
