It seems that the movement around Condé Nast’s building is bothering the publishing company, who intends to move from its current address at Manhattan’s financial center to occupy the 1 World Trade Center, the complex that will be constructed in the ground zero and should be inaugurated in 2013.
* A memorandum circulated to employees said that the head of operations and finances, John Bellando, is in talks with the authorities of New York to get a license and all the offices can go to the new building. If this is true, the magazine’s offices – now spread around Times Square – will be on the same address.
* Condé Nast’s current headquarter is under a contract until 2020 with the Durst organization but everything can be negotiated with breaking the deal as the company owns several floors and office spaces of the 1 World Trade Center.
