Chef Fergus Henderson teamed up with Trevor Gulliver, owner of two restaurants, a bakery and a wine shop in England to bring the pleasures of the table to bed. Hold on! Glamurama can explain: they decided to open a hotel in London’s West End, near the trendy Leicester Square. The St. John Hotel has only 15 rooms, all prepared to offer "everything the guest needs and nothing he or she doesn’t need." * White walls and industrial light let the wonderful room service shine. In place of club sandwiches, a rotating menu that includes delicacies, such as dark chocolate and plum breads. For those hoping to find a continental breakfast with sachet jellies, Gulliver tells, with the best of English humor, "we are British, we don’t make croissants." The movie below, made by photographer Marcus Gaab, shows other delicacies served at the hotel.
