The legal fight between L’Oréal’s owner, Liliane Bettencourt and her daughter, Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, hasn’t come to an end yet. The news of this Thursday is that the billionaire – who has even interrogated – had to open the doors of her home in Neuilly-sur-Seine, for the police to do a search on the house.
* The trouble begun with Liliane’s daughter, who believes her 87 years old mother is incapable. She has asked the French court, unsuccessfully, to interdict Liliane after accusing the photographer François-Marie Banier for taking advantage to "earn" more than $ 1.3 billion.
* And what the police sought? Papers proving that, Liliane was mislead when making a donation to the photographer. In response, the owner of L’Oreal wrote a statement that says: "I am shocked, hurt and saddened by recent events." Sure, the story won’t stop there.
