In September, musician Alceu Valença is finishing shooting a film he began directing in 2009. “A Luneta do Tempo” ("The Spyglass of Time") is a musical whose plot combines love and banditry, and all the musical influences of the singer and composer from Pernambuco, such as guitar players, emboladores, forró and the regional dance of the sea horse.
* Of the 80 songs Alceu composed for the soundtrack in the last ten years, about 30 of them will be selected. He also wrote the script for the production, which is due out in 2012.
