On June 5, New York will get a typically Brazilian party. The initiative came from models Alessandra Ambrosio, Luciana Curtis, Caroline Bittencourt, Fabiana Saba, Vanessa Greca and Tatiana Abraços, who banded together to promote the first ever “Festa Junina” in Manhattan. To promote the celebration – which is already practically sold out – the models dressed their children in traditional clothes, and we loved the shot of 10-month-old Cora, daughter of Luciana Curtis. Adorable!
* Called Children Helping Children, the festival is organized by the NGOs Brazil Child Health and BrazilFoundation and will happen at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Apart from the food, decor and typical dances, the "country people" will be able to participate in an auction of pieces from Osklen and Maria Bonita, tickets to festivals, trips and dinners with all-star chefs. All proceeds goto the NGOs involved.Cool, isn’t it!
